Friends of Oberlin Village received a $5,000 NC CARES: Humanities Relief Grant from the North Carolina Humanities Council, www.nchumanities.org. Funding for NC CARES has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and
Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.
We are grateful to be one of 59 organizations the North Carolina Humanities Council selected for this funding.
This important funding will support the enhancement of FOV’s website navigation, design, and content based on the research and recommendations provided by North Carolina State University’s Human Factors class. Once implemented the modifications will allow the community at large the ability to access a wide repository of Oberlin Village records.
