The Friends of Oberlin Village (FOV), is pleased to announce a Call for Applications for board member positions. The FOV Board of Directors consists of eight members elected or re-elected at its Annual Meeting in February. Individuals newly elected to the FOV Board will serve a two-year term and re-elected Board members will serve a one-year term.
The FOV Board meets quarterly, typically on a Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00. Tentative
dates for the 2023 Board meetings are as follows:

Monday, April 10
Monday, July 10
Monday, October 9
Monday, December 11 – special board meeting to approve the FOV 2024 budget
During 2022, the Board met via Zoom in response to COVID-19. In 2023, the Board will continue meeting via Zoom or hold hybrid meetings until conditions permit totally resuming onsite meetings.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors, board members either lead or serve on an FOV Committee. Committee meetings are scheduled by each committee chair based on dates that work best for the majority of its members. FOV Board members are expected to actively participate on the board and assigned committees and should anticipate dedicating approximately 5 hours per week towards their FOV responsibilities.
